Sergio Gomez

Sergio Gomez, EI, is a Project Engineer at NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC since March 2023 and serves as Vice President at ASHE Tampa Bay. Previously, Sergio worked as a Geotechnical Staff Engineer at MC Squared, Inc. from October 2017 to March 2023, where responsibilities included leading inspection activities, developing project scopes, and overseeing geotechnical analysis and exploration. Before this, Sergio was the Laboratory Manager & Research Associate at Louisiana Tech University from 2012 to 2017, focusing on research in construction materials, specifically geopolymer concrete. Sergio began their career as an Intern at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, contributing to research in soil and material analysis. Sergio holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and a Bachelor’s degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.
