Erin Leonard serves as the Vice President of Communications at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce since December 2011, managing all communications efforts for the organization. Previous experience includes roles such as Director of Marketing & Sales and Marketing Communications Manager at North Carolina Outward Bound, where responsibilities encompassed developing and executing marketing strategies, public relations initiatives, and creating various communication materials. Earlier in the career, Erin worked as an Internet/Graphics Coordinator for the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce and as a Public Relations Assistant at the Asheville Convention and Visitors Bureau, focusing on enhancing web presence and media outreach. Erin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
