Rachel S. currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce and has held the position of President and CEO at Mercy Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine since 2015. Additionally, Rachel has experience as Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Human Resources at the same organization. Rachel is an Advisory Board Member for the Western Carolina University MSHR Advisory Board and previously held leadership roles as Board President and Vice President for the Western North Carolina Medical Managers Association. In 2019, Rachel acted as a speaker and consultant for Urgent Care Services Corporation and coordinated the MSHR Consulting Program at Western Carolina University in 2015-2016. Educational qualifications include an MBA from North Carolina State University, a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Western Carolina University, and dual Bachelor’s Degrees from Appalachian State University.
