Matt Whiteside

Matt Whiteside has extensive experience in educational technology, serving as the Director of Instructional Technology and Media Services at Asheville City Schools since July 2004, where responsibilities include strategic planning and management of technology systems and resources. Prior to this role, Matt Whiteisde worked at San Francisco Unified School District in various capacities, including Instructional Technology Facilitator, Curriculum and Technology Integration Specialist, and 4th Grade Teacher from July 1999 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Certificate from the CTO Program at UNC School of Government, a License in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University, a Master's degree in Education from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Florida.
