Prior to this, they served as the Corporate Regional Director of Revenue Optimization at Aimbridge Hospitality, where they led revenue strategy teams for properties in various markets and worked closely with ownership and property leadership to drive profitable strategies. Before that, Samir was a Director of Corporate Revenue Optimization at Vail Resorts, overseeing revenue strategies for their hospitality locations and ski resorts across the US and Canada.
Samir also held esteemed positions at Marriott International, including Area Director of Revenue Strategy for Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific region, where they were responsible for revenue strategy for 36 hotels, and Director of Revenue Management for JW Marriott Essex House New York. Samir also served in roles such as Revenue Management Operations Leader in the New York City cluster, Director of Market Strategy in Las Vegas, Senior Revenue Manager, Revenue Manager, and Inventory Manager during their tenure at Marriott.
Additionally, Samir has past experience as a Camp Commissioner at Boy Scouts of America - Camp Bowman.
Samir Bhatnagar completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from James Madison University from 1997 to 2001. Samir later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Colorado State University from 2016 to 2018.
