Ahmed al Sheikh

Ahmed Al Sheikh is an experienced IT Project Manager currently working with the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ in Qatar since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ahmed served as a Project Engineer at Iberdrola from February 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included leading a large-scale smart home energy management project utilizing Azure and AWS and developing IoT-based energy management solutions. Previous positions include Electrical Engineer roles at Powermech Engineering WLL, QIT, and Generic Engineering Technologies W.L.L, with a focus on electrical design, site management, and advanced metering technology. Ahmed began professional training as a Broadcast Intern Engineer with Al Jazeera Media Network, acquiring valuable experience in broadcast systems support. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Qatar University, completed in 2014.
