Floyd Absher

Floyd Absher serves as an Advisory Board member for the Strategic AI Program at Ashland University, providing expert feedback on AI coursework and advocating for education on AI's applications and ethical considerations. Previously, during a tenure at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Floyd held roles as VP of Banking & Wealth Management, focusing on data modernization and AI implementation, and as VP of Database and Operations for Mortgage Services, where oversight included a cross-functional team and the integration of complex data warehouses. At OCLC, Floyd operated as Global Technologies Leader, establishing a business management office and a data science team, while at DSW Inc., leadership as Data Management and Architecture Leader involved managing technology projects for enhanced client offerings. Floyd holds an MBA from Otterbein University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
