Dave Chun currently serves as a Staff Scientist at Ashland since November 2024, following a role as a Catalyst Engineer at Aircela Inc from October 2022 to November 2024. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Chemical Engineer at Innoveering, LLC from June 2021 to September 2022, and a Membership Intern at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) from August 2017 to June 2019, where contributions included managing the AIChE Engage platform and analyzing membership data. In 2018, Dave gained research experience through the REU Program at the University of South Carolina, focusing on oxygen carrier performance in chemical-looping processes and presenting findings at the 2018 AIChE Annual Student Conference. Dave holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, completed in 2019, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution.
