Valerie Williams

Valerie Williams is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in polymer science and inorganic chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Team Leader at Ashland since September 2025, Valerie previously held multiple roles at Shell Global Solutions from October 2015 to September 2025, including Senior Polymer Chemist, Polymer Scientist, and Process Chemist. Valerie's academic journey includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on method development in atom transfer radical polymerization, and a Ph.D. from Cornell University, where research encompassed the synthesis and characterization of transition metal complexes. Valerie earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
