Eric Heupel has extensive experience in emergency medical services and leadership roles, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Ashley Medical Center since May 2000. In addition to this role, Eric has been a Paramedic and Interim CEO at the same organization. Since May 2000, Eric has also held the position of Paramedic Supervisor & Manager at Ashley Ambulance Service, specializing as a Critical Care Paramedic. Previously, Eric worked as a Flight Paramedic with Avera Careflight from May 2007 to May 2019. Eric's earlier career includes owning Heupel's Home Furnishings and working in parts counter sales at RDO Equipment Co. Eric holds a Technical Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology from Bismarck State College and an Associate's degree from North Dakota State College of Science. Education was completed at Ashley Public School, where Eric earned a high school diploma.
