Sumant Mitra

Sumant Mitra is an experienced automotive professional currently serving as Zonal Manager for the East region in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) division at Ashok Leyland since August 2011. Previously held positions include Regional Manager for South2 and Head of Sales Planning & Accessories Sales, coordinating production planning based on sales indents. Sumant’s career also includes managing the LCV Central Zone and developing a robust dealer network across Southern India. Prior to Ashok Leyland, Sumant worked at Tata Motors Limited as Regional Dealer Development Manager for the East region and had roles at Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Tata Finance Limited, focusing on channel management and asset finance.
