Palkie Barua

Palkie Barua currently serves as the Senior Manager at the Centre for Health Analytics, Research and Trends at Ashoka University since June 2023, and as a Consultant for GeoHealth Heals at the Centre for Chronic Disease Control since September 2022. Previously, Palkie Barua held various managerial roles at the Public Health Foundation of India from September 2006 to May 2023, including Senior Manager for Programs and Capacity Building at the Centre for Environmental Health, where responsibilities included grant management, financial coordination, administration, and liaising with funders. Palkie Barua also managed training and research programs, facilitated international faculty exchanges, and oversaw capacity building initiatives. Palkie Barua earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy Honours from Lady Shri Ram College for Women from 2002 to 2005.
