Shanthi S. K.

Shanthi S. K. is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of economics, currently serving as a Visiting Professor of Economics at Ashoka University since January 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Director at the India Development Foundation from March 2015 to March 2018, a non-profit institution focused on social sciences and public policy research. Shanthi also held the position of Assistant Dean and Chair-Professor at the GreatLakes Institute of Management from March 2010 to February 2015. Additional academic roles include Visiting Professor positions at the Chennai Mathematical Institute and the Madras School of Economics, as well as various faculty roles at IFMR Graduate School of Business - Krea University, where contributions ranged from Guest Faculty to Associate Professor. Shanthi earned a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics from IFMR Graduate School of Business - Krea University, with further research training in economics from the Indian Statistical Institute and the University of Southern California.
