Pascal Larochelle has extensive work experience in the aviation and operations industry. Pascal started their career as an Air Traffic Controller, working in both VFR and IFR roles. Pascal later progressed into managerial positions, including overseeing operations at various flight service stations and control towers. Pascal also served as the Manager of Operational Training, leading a team of teaching professionals and developing training programs for Air Traffic Services. Prior to their current role as Vice President Operations - Western Canada at ASI Group, they worked at NAV CANADA, where they held various positions such as Technical Services Manager and Project Manager for the Vancouver Airspace Modernization Project. Throughout their career, Pascal has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic planning skills, focusing on operational efficiency and enhancing safety within the industry.
Pascal Larochelle has a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from Conestoga College. Pascal also has a degree in Business and Environment from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, which they obtained in 2009. In 1996-1997, Pascal attended the NAV CANADA Training Institute where they obtained a TC License in Air Traffic Controller. Furthermore, Pascal has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2019.
