James To is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of the Track II Programme and Senior Adviser at the Asia New Zealand Foundation since May 2016, focusing on research and engagement activities. In addition, James holds the position of Director of Public Communications at Tokuyu Group, where the development of smartphone applications is a priority. As National Secretary of the New Zealand Chinese Association since June 2008, James represents the interests of diverse Chinese migrant groups. Previous roles include Director and Manager at Sun Tai Holdings Ltd, Co-Chair of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs Palmerston North Branch, and Degree Programme Development Coordinator and Lecturer at International Pacific College.
