Investment Thesis:

The rise of the new middle classes in Asia (particularly in China and India), concomitant with ongoing

reduction in arable land, is expected to increase demand for food and agricultural products, leading

to significant growth for this sector over the next decade. Additionally, price increases in the

resources and commodity sector are likely to drive cost of inputs higher and also divert resources to

the biofuels sector, both leading to price increases in the food and agricultural sector. We anticipate

increasing interest in direct equity investment into the sector from both financial investors desiring

such exposure, as well as industry participants seeking either supply or vertical integration.

Ignatius Quek works with Clara Tan - Corporate Secretary, Samantha Law - Financial Controller, and Gabriel Yip - Financial Controller. Ignatius Quek reports to Charlie Ng, Group Managing Director. A direct report to Ignatius Quek is and Tan Jing Ming - VP Investment.
