Sergio Bueno

Sergio Bueno has a strong background in finance and strategy, with extensive experience in various roles. Sergio currently holds the position of Global Head of Strategy and Finance at Asia Shipping Group, where they are responsible for financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, risk management, and treasury activities. Prior to this, Sergio worked as a Senior Manager at PwC Brasil, specializing in finance and controlling. During their time at PwC, they gained expertise in enterprise performance management, financial transformation, and treasury. Sergio also has experience at Bank Itaú, where they worked as a Trainee and Analyst, coordinating the development and commercialization of credit and insurance products and planning sales goals.

Sergio Bueno has a strong educational background with degrees and specializations obtained from various institutions. Sergio obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia in 2001. In 2004, they pursued further education by completing a degree in Management Consulting from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In the same year, they also obtained a degree in Finance from FGV, specializing in Financial Analysis and Company Valuation. In 2007, Sergio completed a Post-Graduation in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from FGV. In 2010, they obtained a specialization in Controllership from FGV, focusing on Management and Controlling. Continuing their education, Sergio completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2014. In 2015, they pursued a specialization in Business Perspectives from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa. Lastly, Sergio completed a Master's degree in Accounting, Controllership, and Finance from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2020.
