Patrick Stegemoeller currently serves as a Staff Attorney in the Democracy Program at the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, focusing on voting rights litigation and policy since September 2021. Previously, Patrick worked as a Staff Attorney at the Vera Institute of Justice and as a Law Fellow at the League of Conservation Voters, where involvement included gerrymandering initiatives, the 2020 Census, and voter registration efforts. Early in the career, Patrick held roles such as a Racial Justice Intern at the Center for Popular Democracy and a Law Clerk at Migrant Legal Action, contributing to legislative proposals and legal research. Additional experience includes positions as a Contract Paralegal at Nixon Peabody LLP, a Regional Field Organizer for the New York State Democratic Committee, and an intern for Representative Paul D. Tonko. Patrick holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's Degree in History from SUNY Geneseo.
