Annabelle Giorgetti serves as a Principal Environmental and Climate Change Economist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), a position held since December 2018, after previously holding the role of Senior Environmental and Climate Change Economist. In this capacity, Annabelle focuses on private sector development, leading initiatives in climate change adaptation, mitigation, circular economy, and green building design while reviewing economic analyses for numerous project investments annually. Prior to ADB, Annabelle was the Director of Enveco, an international consultancy specializing in environmental economics, where responsibilities included conducting high-end economic analyses across various sectors. Annabelle began the career at ADB as an Environmental Economist for the government lending arm, focusing on sustainable projects in China and Mongolia. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Environmental and Resource Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, both obtained from University College London (UCL).
