Bernard Woods

Bernard Woods is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in results management and urban development within international organizations. Currently serving as Principal Director at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Bernard Woods was the inaugural Director of the Results Management and Aid Effectiveness Division (SPRA) following ADB's departmental reorganization. Previously, Bernard held the position of Advisor and Head of the Results Management Unit, where corporate results management was a key focus. Prior roles included serving as Principal Urban Development Specialist at ADB, overseeing project administration in the Urban and Social Sectors Division. Bernard Woods also worked as a Principal Results Management Specialist at Goss Gilroy Inc. and as a Program Manager at the Aga Khan Foundation Canada. Bernard holds a Master’s degree in International Development and Public Administration from Carleton University, completed between 1993 and 2003.
