David Elzinga

David Elzinga is a seasoned energy specialist with a strong background in sustainable energy systems and technology policy. Currently serving as a Senior Energy Specialist in the Climate Change sector at the Asian Development Bank since December 2016, Elzinga previously held the position of Economic Affairs Officer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, where the focus was on gas and electricity's roles in sustainable energy. Prior experience includes leading the International Energy Agency's Energy Technology Perspectives publication as a Senior Project Manager and holding various positions at NRCan and ARISE Technologies Corporation. Elzinga's academic foundation includes a degree from the University of Waterloo.
