Dr. Sreekanta Sheel

Dr. Sreekanta Sheel is an experienced professional in the field of food technology and agricultural value chains, currently serving as an International Food Value Chain Expert at Nippon Koei Co., Ltd., Japan since February 2019, contributing to the Andhra Pradesh Irrigation and Livelihood Improvement Project. In parallel, Dr. Sheel holds the position of International Seed Commercialisation and Intellectual Property Specialist with the Asian Development Bank, focusing on developing commercialization strategies for agricultural research in Cambodia. Previous roles include consultancy positions with the FAO, providing expertise on food loss and waste reduction, value chain development, and post-harvest management across various countries.
