Emma Veve

Emma Veve has extensive experience in economic leadership and advisory roles, primarily with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since July 2005, where current responsibilities include serving as Deputy Director General in the Southeast Asia Department. Emma has successfully built and refocused teams and portfolios in various sectors including urban development, social protection, and education, particularly in the Pacific region. Prior to ADB, Emma held roles such as Economic Adviser at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat and Director at the Bureau of Transport Economics. Educational qualifications include a Master of Economics, a Bachelor of Economics, and a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from prominent Australian universities.
