Jaiganesh Murugesan

Jaiganesh Murugesan is a highly experienced climate adaptation and disaster risk management specialist, currently serving as a consultant with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since April 2022, where responsibilities include supporting the Climate Change and Disaster Resilience Team and driving climate adaptation investment planning. Previous roles include significant contributions to disaster risk reduction initiatives at UNDP, involvement in technical assistance projects, and development of climate resilience strategies across various regions, including Myanmar and the Pacific Islands. With a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Jaiganesh has a robust educational foundation that complements extensive professional experience in climate change adaptation and urban planning.
