Jussi Ahonen

Jussi Ahonen is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Head of Digital Infrastructure and Solutions at Finnfund since May 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing investment strategies and leading a team focused on the digital value chain in emerging markets. Jussi has held various roles at Finnfund, progressing from Senior Investment Manager to Head, and has significant experience in originating and executing investments in the Telecommunications, Technology, and Fintech sectors across multiple regions including Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Additional roles include Board Observer positions at JUMO and the Bandwidth and Cloud Services Group (BCS), as well as previous positions at EY and Standard Bank Group, where Jussi developed strong expertise in corporate finance, advisory services, and investment banking. Jussi holds two Master's degrees in Financial Management and Finance from Durham University.
