Michael O'Rourke

Michael O'Rourke serves as the Chief Technical Adviser for the Asian Development Bank on the Second Greater Mekong Regional Communicable Diseases Control Project, focusing on enhancing health system capacities across three countries. With extensive experience in health management and policy consulting, O'Rourke also holds positions as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, where contributions include curriculum development and supervising research, and as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Sydney School of Public Health. Past roles include leading health management training in Serbia for the European Union and consulting on health sector reforms in Tajikistan. Michael O'Rourke’s educational background includes a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Social Administration from the University of Stirling.
