Paolo Obias

Paolo Obias is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in evaluation and risk management within the finance sector. Currently serving as a Principal Evaluation Specialist in the Independent Evaluation Department at the Asian Development Bank since November 2010, Paolo has previously held the position of Principal Risk Management Specialist focusing on private equity funds, project finance, and financial institutions. Prior to this, Paolo worked at Moody's Investors Service from September 1997 to August 2010 as a Managing Director in Structured Finance, specializing in commercial mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed commercial paper. Educational achievements include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business (1995-1997) and a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University (1989-1993).
