Ali Tarokh

Director Of Operations and Facilities at Asian Human Services

Ali Tarokh has held several positions in the human services and education fields. In 2022, they began their current role as Director of Operations and Facilities at Asian Human Services, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization's culture and facilities to ensure a safe and productive work environment. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Director of Operations at PASSAGES CHARTER SCHOOL-AHS, where they supported the director of operations and facilities in managing the team and implementing organizational strategy. From 2016 to 2019, they held two positions at RefugeeOne. As a Case Manager, they provided primary human services to more than 50 new refugee families and tracked new immigration and refugee policies to advocate the clients' rights through the refugees' coalition group. As a Housing Assistant, they advocated on behalf of more than 200 participants for improved housing conditions, rented and set up apartments for new participants, and coordinated with case managers, participants, and the manager of reception and placement to resettle refugees.

Ali Tarokh is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Law and Policy at Northeastern University. Ali previously earned a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Northeastern Illinois University between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Azad University (IAU) between 2005 and 2009. Ali has also obtained several certifications, including a Diplomacy Lab-Hostage Diplomacy certification from Northeastern University in July 2022, a Diplomacy Lab-Refugee Resettlement Diplomacy certification from Northeastern University in May 2022, and a Verbal Intervention Certificate from the Crisis Prevention Institute in May 2021.
