Hussein Affey

Hussein Affey has worked in the social services industry since 1995. Hussein began their career at Heartland Alliance as a Program Manager and Supervisor. In 2008, they took on roles as a Case Worker for the State of Illinois and a Social Services Career Trainee for the Illinois Department of Human Services. Hussein then worked as a Community Outreach Worker for RefugeeOne from 2012 to 2020. Most recently, they have been a Community Health- Client Engagement specialist for Asian Human Services, Inc. since 2020.

Hussein Affey attended Northeastern Illinois University from 1987 to 1994, where they earned a BA in Social Work with a focus in Social Sciences.
