Early Childhood Site Manager at Asian Human Services

Megan Sexton has worked in the early childhood field for over 13 years. Megan began their career in 2006 as a Volunteer Leader at Chicago Cares. From 2012 to 2018, they held various positions including Arts Learning Educator at the Chicago Children's Museum, Graduate Intern at the Erikson New Schools Project, Social Media Intern at The Ounce of Prevention Fund, Volunteer Educator at the Women's Treatment Center, Student Library Assistant at the Erikson Institute Edward Neisser Library, Teacher at Winnetka Public Schools Nursery, and Program Specialist at KinderCare. In 2015, they became the Director at Creative Scholars Preschool and in 2018 they became the Early Childhood Site Manager at Asian Human Services, Inc.

Megan Sexton obtained a Bachelors of Science in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Western Michigan University between 2001 and 2005. Megan then obtained an Illinois Early Childhood Teaching License from the Illinois State Board of Education in January 2006. Megan later completed a Masters in Child Development from the Erikson Institute between 2010 and 2013.
