Melanie Cortes

Melanie Cortes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melanie currently works at Asian Human Services, Inc. as a Health and Nutrition Manager, where they manage the Head Start health program and provides nutrition education to immigrant and refugee students and families. Prior to this, they worked as an Analyst at Tegus. Melanie also served as a Global Assistant & Project Coordinator at Park Community Church from 2020 to 2022. Melanie has experience as a Certified Nutrition and Health Coach at Profile by Sanford and as a Barre Instructor at Pure Barre. Melanie previously worked as a Primary Nutritionist & Office Manager at Pure Health and Vitality Inc. and as a Public Relations & Special Projects Coordinator at Northern Illinois University.

Melanie Cortes completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Health and Wellness from Northern Illinois University, where they attended from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree from College of DuPage between 2011 and 2013. In addition to their academic achievements, Melanie Cortes also obtained a Health and Nutrition Coach Certification from Profile by Sanford in May 2019.
