Ghufran Shafi

Ghufran Shafi is a seasoned professional in urban development and investment operations, currently serving as a Senior Urban Development Specialist at the Asian Development Bank since August 2024. Previously, Ghufran held the position of Senior Investment Operations Specialist at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank from 2016 to 2024 and worked as a Project Management Specialist (Engineering) at the US Agency for International Development from 2012 to 2016, also serving as a Foreign Service National Fellow in Washington D.C. Earlier in the career, Ghufran was a Senior Engineer at CPG Corporation from 2008 to 2012 and a Distribution Engineer at SNGPL from 2002 to 2006. Ghufran holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from NWFP University of Engineering and Technology.
