Rajat Misra

Rajat Misra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infrastructure finance and project advisory. Currently serving as Director General for South & South-East Asia at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank since April 2017, Rajat has previously held the position of Senior Vice President at SBI Capital Markets from June 1999 to March 2017, focusing on debt, private equity, M&A, and advisory services in the infrastructure sector. Earlier in their career, Rajat worked as a Senior Engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited from August 1991 to May 1997. Rajat holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) and a BMD from XLRI Jamshedpur, along with Executive Education in Infrastructure in a Market Economy from Harvard University.
