Michael Sanders

Michael Sanders is an experienced professional in social services and education, currently serving as a Case Manager at the Asian Youth Center since July 2020, where responsibilities include evaluating and recommending social programs, grants, and benefits, as well as managing cases related to guardianship and housing needs. With a long tenure as a Special Educator at Roman Empire Living Skills starting in September 2016, Michael focuses on providing instruction to individuals with disabilities and advocates for the removal of barriers to community participation. Prior experience includes working as a Direct Behavior Interventionist at Optima Family Services, Inc. from April 2018 to August 2020, where contributions were made to help children with autism develop social skills and reduce disruptive behaviors, and serving as a Childcare Provider at the Child Care Resource Center from April 2004 to September 2016. Michael holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Phoenix and furthered education at California State University San Marcos.
