Catherine Carpenter

Catherine Carpenter currently serves as an Advisor for International, Registry & Intelligence at ASIC since January 2024. Previously, Catherine held positions at the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner from May 2020 to January 2024, where responsibilities included Policy Adviser in the Systems & Security, Regulation and Strategy Branch, as well as Communications Adviser in Strategic Communications. From August 2014 to May 2020, Catherine was the Communications and Publications Manager at the Law and Justice Foundation of NSW. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Communications at the National Health Performance Authority from January 2013 to August 2014 and Deputy Director at Ragg & Co from August 2009 to January 2013. Catherine holds a Graduate Certificate in Health Policy from the University of Sydney, a Professional Legal Studies Course from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, and a BA LLB with a focus on English Literature from the University of Auckland.
