Jonathan Hatch is a highly experienced Senior Advisor and Lawyer in the Strategic Intelligence group at ASIC, specializing in fintech, insurtech, wealthtech, payment systems, and AI-related work. Jonathan has advised on investment managers and superannuation innovations, as well as supervised the application and enforcement of superannuation and managed investment scheme laws. Jonathan contributes to academia as an instructor on blockchain, data privacy, and digital transformation at RMIT University and the University of Sydney, while also serving on the Advisory Board for The Allens Hub for Technology, Law and Innovation. His previous roles include Corporate Counsel positions at OnePath and ING Australia, and legal analysis at Credit Suisse. Jonathan holds a Master of Law and Legal Practice from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney. In addition, Jonathan is an active member of the Australian AI Working Group at Standards Australia.
