Kate Hebbard has extensive experience in enforcement and compliance within regulatory environments, having served in various director roles at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) from January 2009 to January 2011, including Director of the Telecommunications Group and Director of Enforcement Operations for Victoria. Hebbard advanced to General Manager of the Northern & Eastern Branch within the Consumer & Fair Trading Division at ACCC from July 2021 to November 2022. Currently, in a secondment position as Senior Executive Specialist for Enforcement and Compliance at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) since January 2025, Hebbard is dedicated to managing knowledge for investigators in competition and consumer law breaches. Educational qualifications include a VCE from Geelong Grammar School and dual degrees in Law and Commerce from Deakin University.
