Mark Legge

Mark Legge is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk-based supervision and credit analysis across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Investment Managers at ASIC since August 2019, Mark leads a team focused on the regulation of participants in the managed funds industry. Previously, Mark spent over two decades at S&P Global Ratings, advancing from Associate Director to Senior Director in Financial Services, where notable contributions included leading credit analysis for major insurers and banks in Australia and New Zealand. Mark's earlier roles at the Government of Alberta, Commonwealth Treasury, and Department of Finance involved significant economic analysis and forecasting, contributing to policy recommendations and fiscal assessments. Mark holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA, a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Alberta, and an Honours degree in Economics from La Trobe University.
