Peter Chakty

Peter Chakty is a Senior Supervisor in Regulatory Compliance and Banking Supervision at ASIC. They have previously served as an Investigator in the Financial Services Enforcement team at ASIC, where they focused on investigating misconduct and enforcing compliance with financial services laws. Peter's earlier experience includes working as an Inspector at the Australian Building and Construction Commission and as a Graduate and later Intermediate Accountant in Insolvency & Reconstruction and Forensic at Veritas Advisory. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Accounting and Human Resource Management from the University of Technology Sydney and is a provisional member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
