Jim Spivey

Jim Spivey is an experienced sports marketing professional currently serving as the Sports Marketing Supervisor at ASICS Corporation since January 2006, where the focus is on supporting US colleges and high schools in acquiring ASICS Team products. Spivey has significant background in athletics, having competed as a member of the USA Olympic Teams in the 1500m and 5000m events during the 1984, 1992, and 1996 Olympic Games. Additionally, coaching roles include Head Women's Cross-Country Coach at Vanderbilt from 2002 to 2005 and Head Coach for both Men and Women Cross-Country/Track & Field at the University of Chicago from 1997 to 2001. Early career experience includes positions at Network Indiana and as an Account Executive with the NBA Indiana Pacers. Spivey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington in 1983.
