We are focused primarily on being a driving force in developing a sustainable creative industry in the Southeastern United States.

ASIFA-South is the official Animation Organization representing South Eastern US officially with UNESCO affiliated ASIFA International Animated Film Association. Headquartered in Atlanta, our nonprofit organization represent the central communication hub between international and US-based chapters. Our goal is to foster and unite the animation community locally and globally to promote artists and the art of animation through communication and collaboration.

The Programming team is in charge of two major departments: Screening and Education. The Screening team curates quality animated content for our ASIFAC festival, other community centric organizations and is the contact point for our filmmakers and panelists. They are responsible for media collection in testing, ensuring all media works properly and often sit through hours of tests to ensure our audience receives an uninterrupted viewing experience. The Education team deploys animation-oriented workshops to schools, libraries, and other community organizations. The screening team is also responsible for cultivating tailor-made curriculums and itineraries for our creative incubators.
