We support the next generation of artists and interest in animation by promoting STEAM education with year-round free and low-cost workshops for schools, libraries, and more.

ASIFA-South partners
with organizations locally and globally to advocate for sustainable practices as a representative of the animation industry.

We are focused primarily on being a driving force in developing a sustainable creative industry in the Southeastern United States.

ASIFA-South is the official Animation Organization representing South Eastern US officially with UNESCO affiliated ASIFA International Animated Film Association. Headquartered in Atlanta, our nonprofit organization represent the central communication hub between international and US-based chapters. Our goal is to foster and unite the animation community locally and globally to promote artists and the art of animation through communication and collaboration.

The board of directors is made up of elected representatives of the animation industry in the South including practitioners, studio owners, and academics in the filed. The role of the board of directors is to help ASIFA-South with strategy, goal, and mission building, and foster relationships with the animation community and professional sphere. The position is renewed yearly.
