Erik Hodge has a long history of work experience in the software engineering and game development fields. From 2013-present, they have been a Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect at Asignio, helping design and develop authentication and mobile-payment applications. From 2006-2011, they were the Owner of Monkey Barrel Games, creating unique casual games, and the Lead Game Architect, responsible for creating two games that became the #1 game on BigFishGames.com. From 1996-2002, they were a Senior Software Development Engineer at RealNetworks, Inc., inventing, designing, documenting, and coding the world's first streaming text format and end-to-end streaming-text system for the Web. Lastly, from 1992-1996, they were a Software Engineer at Kyle Dober, developing algorithms for converting 2D laser scans into 3D polygons, creating a custom dress shoe based on the shape of a foot, and engineering a much-stronger and customer-friendly enclosure for the second-generation foot scanner.
Erik Hodge completed their high school diploma at The Lakeside School in 1983. Erik then attended the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Computer Science.
