Field Operations Manager & Head Guide - Asilia Kenya at Asilia Africa

Roelof Schutte has extensive work experience in the wildlife and hospitality industry. Roelof started their career in 2000 as a Section Manager at Zingela Game Ranch. Roelof then worked as a Game Farm Manager and Buffalo Breeding Project Manager at Excellence and Wayne Wagner Safaris. In 2004, Roelof became the Manager and Head Guide at Old Mondoro Bush Camp, and they continued in this role until 2007. Roelof joined Asilia Africa in 2008 as the Camp Manager and Walking Guide at Olivers Camp. Later, they moved to Chiawa Camp as the Manager and Head Guide at Old Mondoro Bush Camp. In 2009, Roelof became the Nature Reserve Manager at Nungu Private Game Reserve under NDZHAKENI INVESTMENTS. Roelof then joined Lion Roars in 2010 as the Manager at Hlosi Game Lodge. Roelof's most recent position, which they have held since 2011, is the Field Operations Manager and Head Guide at Asilia Kenya.
