Tekwane Mwendwa

Tekwane Mwendwa is the CEO and co-founder of Asilimia, a financial technology company that provides digital solutions to underserved communities in Africa. Tekwane has over 10 years of experience working in the financial services sector in Kenya.

Prior to Asilimia, Tekwane was the Chief Executive Officer of Change Agents Kenya, a social enterprise that provides financial literacy training to young people. Tekwane also worked as an Operations Manager at Active Eight Limited, a Kenyan sports marketing company.

Tekwane has a degree in accounting from the University of Nairobi and is a certified public accountant. Tekwane is passionate about using technology to improve access to financial services for underserved communities in Africa.
