Amanda Embree

Amanda Embree has a strong background in automation engineering, with a focus on applications development, equipment maintenance, and employee training for robotics. Amanda has experience in developing in-house applications for laboratory sample processing using .net language. Amanda's most recent position was as a Senior Automation Engineer at Asimov since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Automation Engineer II at MIT-Broad Foundry from January 2017 to April 2021. Amanda also has experience as an Automation Engineer at Courtagen Life Sciences, Inc. from September 2015 to September 2016. Before that, they worked at Monsanto as an Automation Specialist for ten years, specializing in robotics and developing LIMS applications. Amanda's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Associate-Automation at Biogen Idec from 2002 to 2005, a Research Associate-Automation at Cereon Genomics from 1999 to 2002, and a Research Associate at Genome Therapeutics, Inc. from 1997 to 1999.
