Kaiyuan Wang has a diverse work experience. Kaiyuan began their career in 2014 as an Undergraduate Researcher at the National University of Singapore. In 2015, they worked as a Research Intern at MedImmune. In 2013, they served as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Johns Hopkins Institute for NanoBioTechnology. From 2017 to 2022, they pursued a PHD at Rice University as a student. Currently, they hold the position of Genome Engineering Technologies Scientist at Asimov starting from March 2023.
Kaiyuan Wang began their education at the Shanghai Foreign Language School Affiliated to SISU, where they completed their high school education. After graduating from high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from 2012 to 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, Kaiyuan Wang continued their education at Rice University, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2017 to 2022.
