Summer Garza-Kim

Summer Garza-Kim is an experienced professional with a strong background in leadership and customer operations. Currently serving as a Community Member at Ask a Chief of Staff since June 2024, Summer previously held the position of Chief of Staff and Head of Customer Operations at Arival Bank, where contributions included implementing OKRs and enhancing customer experience for premium clients. Summer participated as a CoS Fellow at On Deck, fostering connections with industry peers, and was instrumental in recruiting efforts at Aspiration as the first hire in the Customer Engagement department. Additional experience includes roles as Shop Coordinator at 11:11 Supply, Customer Relations at Simple Finance, and teaching English in France. Summer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics from Portland State University, earned in 2015.
