Matthias Schrod

Matthias Schrod has extensive experience in sales and management within the chemicals industry, particularly in the foundry sector. Currently, Matthias serves as the Head of Sales for Germany, Benelux, and the UK at ASK Chemicals since January 2014, overseeing a comprehensive sales organization with full P&L responsibility. Previous roles include Head of Sales Germany & Benelux and Commercial Director Germany at ASK Chemicals, as well as Regional Sales Manager focusing on the South/West Germany region. Matthias has also held sales management positions at BYK Additives & Instruments and Rockwood Clay Additives GmbH, where responsibilities spanned various markets including paints, coatings, and adhesives. Early career experience includes roles at ASK Chemicals GmbH and Süd-Chemie AG, focusing on technical marketing and R&D. Matthias holds a Dr.-Ing. degree in Chemistry from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
