Steve Johnston

Steve Johnston has extensive experience in the foundry and casting industry, currently serving as an Applications Engineer focused on Gating and Feeding systems at ASK Chemicals L.P. since September 1999, where expertise includes simulation technologies such as Magmasoft and Novacast, along with Solidworks CAD software. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Project Manager for Casting Design Services, specializing in casting process design. Earlier in their career, from September 1999 to August 2005, Steve was the Regional Sales Manager for Ashland Pacific, managing accounts across Southeast Asia and serving as Foundry Technical Manager. Steve also gained experience as Operations Manager at Promec WA, overseeing technical sales and product development in Western Australia. Steve Johnston holds a degree in Cast Metals Technology and Foundry Engineering from RMIT University and received education at Ballarat School of Mines.
